This works for samsung laptops running P05RAC bios version. Please let me know if it works on any others and i will update.

Step 1: Step 1
Press F2 quickly at boot up
Step 2: Step 2
Got to Advanced tab and navigate down to 'Fast Bios Mode' and disable.
Disabling the fast bios mode allows the bios to recognize usb drives plugged in.

Go to Boot tab and change 'Boot Device Priority' so USB HDD is at the top.
Step 4: Step 4
Get winrar password. Save and reboot
Csi utility lite version 1.2. Hope this saves someone the time playing around on a samsung wondering why it wont boot from the usb drive.

Thanks, yeah you saved me some time and frustration. This laptop is garbage and I will never buy one of these or recommend anyone buy a Samsung laptop. I'm working on my friend's, so don't have much choice but to deal with it so I can get it working for him again.

Thank you!! this worked on an older Samsung from 2018, Model NP300E5C.
Annoying that the USB does not show as a boot device in the boot menu but setting as the first boot device and letting it boot up does work.

at least you can get there..mine won't get out of loop..I feakin hate this thing pressing f2 does nothing
